So when I was in my youngest darling’s classroom, I put together some essays that they had written on a bulletin board for her. (Same job, different school.) I was impressed by all the wonderful things the kids said about their heroes. Every child in the class picked a family member, usually mom or dad. Every child except mine. He picked his doctor.
He had great reasons why his doctor was his hero. The first: The doctor gave him spray for his athlete’s foot. The second: The doctor gave him shots to help his allergies and his nasal congestion (his words.)
Gotta love it. 🙂
