Ok, so the kids finished theirs yesterday, but of course I couldn’t finish mine. So instead of cleaning the bathroom and hall closet, I finished my “ugly” doll. Here it is:
It is going to school to sit on my couch. The kids will love it. I think I may have to make more.
Looking at the kids designs compared to mine, they were not afraid of detail. I think I was.

BTW, and apropos to nothing, I do believe that finishing something fun is far more important than cleaning. Then again, I would! :-|-

Concensus wins: don’t clean. But do you need a sewing maching to do all that? My children couldn’t have asked for a worse mother when it comes to creativity

jujubug- You don’t “need” a sewing machine. It can be done by hand, but it will take a bit longer. However, that would be good fine motor work for the kids!
